DevelopmentÂ
Developing natural blackmagic gen 5 LUTs was a laborious process that took several months to complete. Throughout this development process, I went to numerous locations and collaborated with various models to ensure that I achieved the most authentic skin tone rendition possible for Blackmagic Design Gen 5. This involved an extensive and meticulous process of testing and refinement until I was satisfied that the resulting LUTs were of the highest quality and offered the most natural and accurate color grading possible. In short, the development of these LUTs required a significant investment of time, effort, and expertise to produce a final product that met my high standards of quality and performance.
How To?
The workflow behind the Blackmagic Natural Gen 5 LUTs was designed to support a comprehensive and structured step-by-step color grading process, ensuring that nothing falls out of hand. The process begins with a thorough assessment of the footage and the desired outcome, which guides the selection of the appropriate LUT. Once the LUT has been selected, it is applied to the footage, and the color grading process begins.
The color grading process itself is organized into a series of steps, each of which builds upon the previous one, starting with the primary color correction and moving through to secondary corrections, grading, and finishing touches. This step-by-step approach ensures that every aspect of the color grading process is carefully considered and executed, resulting in a final product that is polished, professional, and visually stunning.
Throughout the process, the Blackmagic Natural Gen 5 LUTs provide a consistent and reliable foundation for color grading, ensuring that colors remain true to life and that the overall look and feel of the footage is both natural and captivating. With this structured workflow, nothing falls out of hand, and every aspect of the color grading process is carefully managed to achieve the desired result.
